Publications

Although OEIG complaints and investigative files are statutorily confidential, the OEIG’s final summary reports are sent to the Executive Ethics Commission (EEC) to determine whether the report will be published.  Each summary report provides information, evidence, and details of the OEIG’s work. Publication of summary reports helps to provide transparency, deterrence, and allows Illinois citizens to be aware of the OEIG’s work.

Our publications also include Annual Reports which include descriptions of published reports and OEIG operations, other summaries of the impactful work performed by this office, and statistical data. The following OEIG reports are available to the public:
