EEC Ethics Act Decisions
If the OEIG makes findings that there has been a violation of the Ethics Act—such as prohibited political activity, retaliation, a gift ban or revolving door violation, or failure to cooperate with an OEIG investigation—in addition to the founded report, the OEIG may also request that the Office of the Attorney General file a complaint before the EEC. If the EEC decides that a violation of the Ethics Act indeed did occur, the EEC may impose an administrative fine or other appropriate injunctive relief. Those EEC decisions, based on OEIG investigations, can be found here.
